The gardens have been lovingly created with the help of landscape designers and a team of dedicated gardeners, in the midst of 16 acres of olives, almonds, oranges, figs, pears, pomegranates and vines

The design is inspired by the Alhambra, and its Moorish influence on Andalucia, and the more recent design of the wonderful Museo Picasso in Malaga a stunning mountainscape.

This new house has been built on the side of a beautiful valley tucked away in the hills is conveniently located 1 hour’s drive from Malaga Airport, just over 1 hour from Granada and its airport, and 5 minutes down the hill from Periana village.

The historic market town of Velez Malaga is half an hour away down the hill towards the sea. The area is a thriving fruit and olive growing region producing prize-winning olive oil at the local cooperative.

with generous sofas and chairs and at the other end a dining table to seat 10



Next to this is the kitchen which is provided with the latest equipment, everything ergonomically arranged for maximum convenience. There is a small breakfast table and chairs. Through the kitchen is the laundry and service area.

At the other end of the hall is the library, a comfortable smaller room with television (UK channels), video and DVD.

The house is built largely on one level and furnished to an unusually high standard with antiques, paintings and books.

The spacious double storey entrance hall is flooded with light from all directions and has French windows leading on to the gardens and the pool.

The house is built on the plan of a Roman country villa with at its heart the sheltered courtyard and rill leading to the swimming pool

At either end of the main house are the principal bedrooms, benefiting from spectacular views across acres of beautiful agricultural landscape.

Bedroom 1 is a large room with generous storage cupboards and bathroom with both shower unit and bath.


Bedroom 2 has twin beds, plenty of cupboard space and a bathroom and Bedroom 3 has a double bed, a shower room and also plenty of cupboard space.

Bedroom 4, a twin bedroom is down stairs, and provided with cupboards and bathroom.

The house has air conditioning to cool it in the summer, combined with under floor heating to warm the terracotta floors in winter. Heating is supplied by an ecological solar powered system.
